Giving Back

ContentActive created its annual HoustonActive event in 2007 to raise awareness of the need for education through technology for our underserved youth in the city of Houston. The events honor the community’s leading non-profits along with local government initiatives working in this sector.

ContentActive is please to be hosting its first DallasActive event in the Fall of 2009 while continuing with HoustonActive.

Honorees in Houston have included the following:

Mayor Bill White and his Digital Inclusion Program
Harris County Education Foundation and their work with NASA and robotics
TechCorps Texas and its K-12 IT Systems education program,Communities in Schools
The Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans
Prepared for Life and its Lemonade Day.

As a web-based management systems provider, the event is a natural for ContentActive. "HoustonActive has provided a new venue for raising awareness of technology and its importance in education throughout the greater Houston area," said Brian Gaubert, CEO of ContentActive.
