Brian Gaubert is Co-Founder and CEO of ContentActive, where he is the Chief Architect and Engineer, as well as head of product development, project management and customer service. In his former role as co-founder of ContentActive, Mr. Gaubert brought senior development, architectural and management experience to the ContentActive project team, leading them to becoming a member of the Fast Tech 50. During his tenure with ContentActive, Mr. Gaubert and his team successfully designed, developed and launched the ContentActive Software Suite which contains 18 online management tools that have been used on over 350 web development projects. Prior to ContentActive, Mr. Gaubert was Manager of the Security Solutions Team for Compaq Computer, where he developed highly available security and Internet architectures utilizing products with best of breed security providers.
Mr. Gaubert and his partner, Leisa Holland-Nelson, co-founded the annual HoustonActive event, actively supporting education through technology. They have made community service part of the mission of their company and each year honor an effort by the City of Houston along with at least three non-profit organizations focused on education and technology.
Mr. Gaubert has a Bachelor in Science in Computer Science from the College of Engineering at Michigan State University.
|  | Leisa Holland-Nelson Co-Founder, President and COO Leisa Holland-Nelson is Co-founder, President and CMO of ContentActive, where she is responsible for sales, marketing and human resources.
Prior to ContentActive, Ms. Holland-Nelson was a partner in the Retail Practice of the Consumer Products sector of Heidrick and Struggles, Inc., Consultants in Executive Search in New York City. In her role, Ms. Holland-Nelson focused on management assessment and consulting as well as executive recruitment.
Prior to entering executive search, Ms. Holland-Nelson's career included executive merchandising and marketing positions in retailing with Neiman Marcus and Federated Department Stores and in the fashion industry with Leslie Fay's Outlander division and Evan-Picone. In 1996, Ms. Holland-Nelson formed the Apparel Resource Group, Inc.; a consumer product focused consulting company specializing in brand positioning, organizational development and technology management.
Ms. Holland-Nelson is a well-known speaker in both the fashion and financial industries on consumer focused marketing and trend forecasting. She is also very active in the community in Houston, Texas, chairing the Business Leadership Council for the Greater Houston Partnership having been founding co-chair of its' Advocates Committee, chairing Houston Technology Center's Partner Connection event since 2006, serving as a sponsor and judge for the Rice Business Plan Competition and its Advisory Board for the Rice Alliance I.T.-Venture Forum since 2005. Ms. Holland-Nelson served on the Board of Trustees for the Council on Alcohol and Drugs, Houston and is the former Advisory Board Chair for three terms.
She also serves on the Boards of Directors for the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce, and is the 2009-2010 Leadership Committee Chair and will Chair the 2010 Annual Women's Conference, and the 2011 Board of Directors, TechCorps Texas, the Hermann Park Conservancy, Theatre Under the Stars and The Holocaust Museum of Houston, the Board of Trustees for Goodwill Industries, the Board of Advisors for Houston Achievement Place, The Guild of Yellowstone Academy, and the American Heart Association. She is a former board member of HITS Theatre and Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. In 2009 and 2010 she Co-chaired the Houston Community College Passion for Fashion Luncheon. She also Co-chaired the Bytes and Birdies Gala and Golf honoring TechCorps Texas in 2010. In 2011 she will be the Honorary Chair for the Passion for Fashion Luncheon and The Jewish Community Center's Scholarship Gala.
Ms. Holland-Nelson was named one of "Houston's Fifty Most Influential Women of 2009" by Houston Woman Magazine.

Dave Stump is Executive Vice President, Sales for ContentActive, and is responsible for sales, business development, client enrichment, and strategic partnership. Prior to ContentActive, Mr. Stump spent the last decade at 4 Guys Interactive, a nationally known firm, as the VP of Sales and Marketing where he advanced the company's portfolio into a wide mix of the Fortune 500, including companies like Dow Corning Trust, Cemex, Dresser Industries, American Airlines and Lloyd's; as well as dynamic local/regional/national firms like Garden Ridge, Mustang Engineering, Carapelli, Morris Architects, Carbon Nanotechnologies, Igloo Commercial, and Williams Brothers. Beyond client engagement, as part of his client services he has long experience leading companies through an advanced course of turning ideas and goals into real, successful online techniques and applications.
Prior to moving to Houston, Mr. Stump's career included senior marketing positions at vertical leaders NGC, ECI, and IEF as well as direct marketing development at Target Publishing and the American Bureau of Economic Research. He has also previously run his own private consulting firm, specializing in direct "guerilla" marketing.
He has served at the Greater Houston Partnership as the Chairman of the Business Development committee, and later as the Chair of the CEO Roundtables. He is currently Chair of the Partnership's dynamic new council, the Business Leadership Council.
Mr. Stump graduated from Pacific University, in Oregon, with a degree in Broadcast Communications. He also served as Manager of the school's public Radio and Television stations, as well as Coach of the Pacific University Men's soccer team. |
